The Margaret Paulka Memorial Award

The late Margaret Paulka was a beloved President, mother, and friend of St. Mark’s Calisthenics Club. Her dedication and passion for the club were immeasurable, and though she is sadly missed, her spirit continues to inspire us. Margaret’s legacy remains deeply embedded in the heart of St. Marks, and she is fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The Margaret Paulka Memorial Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates exceptional commitment and dedication to the club, going above and beyond what is expected. The awardee is someone whose actions or presence has greatly enhanced the club, much like Margaret herself.

Margaret’s immense contribution to St. Mark’s will forever be cherished. Her courage, strength, and genuine care continue to inspire us year after year.

The recipient of the award is chosen by Margaret’s family, who will present it at the conclusion of our Annual Concert.

SMCC Club Girl Award

The SMCC Club Girl Award is presented annually to a recipient who has exemplified the qualities of an overall Club Girl throughout the year. This award recognizes an individual who has shown a consistent willingness to contribute across all sections of the club, not just her own. The recipient actively supports others within the club, participates in club functions and events, promotes the club positively, and demonstrates respect for all members. This person also fully embraces the club's policies and values, and lends support wherever needed.

The recipient is selected through a joint decision made by the Coaches each year.

The award is presented at the Annual Concert.

To be eligible for the award, the individual must have been a member of St. Mark’s for at least 12 months.
