CLAIRE RANKIN

TOTS/TINIES and SUBJUNIORS COACH

Claire found a home at St Marks when she moved to Melbourne to start university in 2011. In her time at St Marks Claire has coached our Tinies, Subbies, Juniors and Inters as well as coaching calisthenic skills and a handful of soloists. Since moving to Melbourne Claire has also taught recreational calisthenics at kindergartens, primary schools and other sporting events. Claire is actively involved in coach education, as a mentor for cadets and young coaches at St Marks and presenting accreditation modules for the VCCA's Level One and Cadet Coaching Courses.


In 2017, Claire was fortunate to be nominated for the CVI Calisthenics Ambassador Award for her contribution to calisthenics at St Marks and in the wider community. Claire was also a proud recipient of the Club Girl award in 2012 and the Margaret Paulka Memorial Award in 2017 for her unwaivering support for our club. Now finished her studies, Claire is a practising lawyer and finds time to fit her work in around calisthenics whenever she can.

TORIE KILLENDER

JUNIORS Coach

Torie began her calisthenics journey at the age of 3. She found her home at St Marks in 2015 and since then she has assisted in tinies, subbies and juniors along with skills, and solos.

Recently in March 2022 Torie completed her qualification to become a level 1. Torie has also been involved in the Victorian Calisthenics State team for 5 years during her time in juniors and inters. Torie was also presented club girl in 2019.

In 2024 Torie will coach the Junior team for a second year running and is a part of the senior team.

EBONY PAULKA

SENIORS CO-COACH & INTERMEDIATE COACH

Ebony has been associated with SMCC for almost years. Initially her drive within calisthenics was as a performer, yet as her passion for our sport grew, so did her love and talent for coaching. Across the years Ebony has coached at SMCC across all sections in ranging divisions, including Junior and Inter Championship teams. Among those feats Ebony has also coached two Victorian Nationals Teams and was honoured to be awarded VCCA Coach of the Year.

Her skill and experience will also become an asset to our Junior and Senior teams for next year. Ebony is looking forward to all the wonderful and exciting experiences 2024 has in store.


SHERIDAN PATERNO

MASTERS COACH

Sheridan has been the St Marks Master coach since 2016. She coached a silver and bronze medaling team in the 2016 and 2018 at the Pan Pacific Masters Games at the Gold Coast. She has assisted other sections of our club, including our Championship Inters section in 2016, and has coached skills and solos.

Sheridan is currently in her 23rd year of Calisthenics at St Marks in our Senior team. She was honoured to receive the SMCC Club girl in 2014 and is a proud life member of our club! When Sheridan is not doing calisthenics, she works as school teacher!
